I am super excited to learn about all these new technologies!!
What I am planning on learning about it Pinterest and how that can help my teaching field of FACS ed. Another thing I am interested in is the Promethean board! I think it would be so cool to work with nutrition or recipes from it. Also, I have been browsing some education apps and can I just say - I LOVE THEM!!! I want to learn as much as I can!!
This is going to be fun! :)

Copy Rights
Video #1
Emma BBC
This video is extremely questionable. The rights of the video are tagged under BBC's ownership and not that of the person who uploaded it. About 10% is also used from the entire film for this specific video. It appears the laws were followed but the entire film can be accessed by the public. This can take away the rights of BBC. It can be used in a class setting if the class is learning about the social class and society of the early 1800's in England.
Alton Brown
This video does not seem to have legitimate copyright permission at all. First of all, the source of the video is obviously not kosher. It has been filmed off the TV and not from a legitimate source. It is only 6 minutes long but Alton Brown's shows are only 23 minutes so it is over 10% of the entire film. The person who uploaded the video did not give the proper rights to Alton Brown or the Food Network either. It is a great video for learning though! :)

IPT 286 Class
I loved making this website!! There are still a lot of flaws I need to work on but it was great!!
I personalized the text for the website for my own personal taste. :) I also picked a background that I preferred over a simple background.
The announcements are posted on this blog as well as under Sewing 101 Announcements
