So - after getting permission from Brother West, I endeavored in making a Screencast instead of an Instructional Video. I have already done moving making in the past so I wanted to try something new. Let me just say that I absolutely LOVE making screencasts!! It was so easy and a great tool for communication screen to screen.
Here is a short story board of the screencast:
Introduce the project to class and explain what screen I am on.
Begin by explaining what step to do next
Continue step by step
*NOTE* Each video would have to be short bursts of information - to not drag on or bore the viewer.
Here is my screencast!!! It describes how to use Mypyramidtracker .gov.
Hey Codi! This was fun to see something different. It looks like it would be a great assignment too. I think screencasts are great ideas because then you don't have to go over it during class and the students can access this at anytime while they are working on their assignment. Good job!
This is great!! I wish I had learned this. I'm getting addicted to the idea of pre-made explanations about things so you have consistency across classes and less room for error. Great Job

ReplyDeleteThat is really cool and great for a classroom. We could use it for a homework assignment so students don't get totally lost when they are home.
